WESTWOOD YOUTH SOFTBALL REFUND POLICY
- Requests for a refund must be made by emailing Westwood Youth Softball at [email protected]. Verbal requests will not be honored. Notifying a coach or age director that your child will not be playing that season does not constitute a request for a refund.
Requests for a refund must be submitted no later than fourteen (14) days following the date that registration for the applicable season closes.
- Refunds will be in the amount of the registration fee less a $40 processing fee.
Exceptions:
• Players who are unable to be placed on a team will receive a full refund (except for drops who later request to rejoin during the season as explained below)
• After the deadlines noted above, partial refunds will be given for players who have a season ending injury or relocate to another town and provide verifiable evidence as follows:
•Prior to the start of the season: 100% of registration fee (less $40 processing fee)
• Season start until ½ way point (calendar days): 50% of registration fee (less $40 processing fee)
• After ½ way point of season (calendar days): No Refunds
- Players who drop because they make a school sports team, school play or other activities will not get a refund unless it is requested by the deadline. At the time WYS is notified that a player is dropping (regardless of whether or not a refund was approved), the player will be deleted from the roster. If a player who drops later decides that they want to play, they will only be placed on a team if there is an available spot. In this situation, if the player cannot be placed on a team, the player is not eligible for a refund due to non-placement on a team.
- Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Credit card processing fees paid to SportsConnect at the time of registration are not refundable.
- WYS reserves the right to change these policies without notice.
