PEEWEE REESE DIVISION RULES
Ages 11-12 Baseball
1. Base distance - 70 ft. Pitching distance - 50' 6"
2. Baseball – Baseball provided by the Wallen League
Bat size - Maximum 2 3/4" x 33" Game length - 6 innings (maximum)
3. All players must play at least 6 defensive outs in the first 4 innings within a legal game
and 9 defensive outs in a full game.
4. Time limit - The game is complete as the last batter completes his time at bat.
No inning shall begin after the 1 Hour 40 Minutes.
For timing purposes, the next inning shall begin immediately once the third out has been recorded in the
bottom of the previous inning.
5. Continuous batting order shall be used.
6. Pitching limitations – Refer to Washington Township General Rules.
Travel team players from any travel team may pitch in house league games, but the maximum outs pitched in a game is 9 consecutive outs for all travel team players combined per game, and or must follow Pitching Limitations for Washington Township General Rules
7. Stealing - All bases allowed - Lead offs allowed.
8. No intentional walks allowed.
9. Dropped 3rd strike - Batter may run on a dropped 3rd strike, per NFHS Rules
10. No head first slides allowed unless runner is returning to the base they came from.
11. Four innings Reese division constitutes a legal game. Must go
12. A 15-run mercy rule shall apply after four complete innings and 10-runs after five complete innings.
13. Where Washington Township rules do not apply, Major League rules will apply.
14. One coach must be in the dugout at all times.
15. A pitcher is only allowed on mound one appearance per game. They may not re-enter onto mound to pitch in the same game. This includes
they have not recorded 12 Consecutive outs or under their min. pitch counts allowed for their age group.
16. All rules are subject to change due to any extraordinary situation. Changes will be determined and approved by the Executive Board of
