Player Pool Request (Coaches)
This page is for CLL Coaches/Managers to request approved pool players when your team will be
short for a game. To keep the process fair and consistent, all pool players are assigned by the Player Agent.
How to Request Pool Players
- Submit your request using the Google Form link below.
- Please submit at least 24 hours in advance when possible.
- If your request is within 24 hours of game time, it will be flagged URGENT automatically.
- The Player Agent will assign players based on eligibility and fair rotation, then contact you with the assignment.
Important: Coaches should not contact players or parents directly to “find” a pool player.
Pool players are assigned by the Player Agent only.
Pool Player Guidelines (Quick Reference)
- Used to avoid forfeits when a team would otherwise have fewer than 9 players.
- Assigned by Player Agent (not coaches) for fairness and consistency.
- Pool players cannot pitch and, by local policy, cannot catch.
- Pool players will bat last and must play at least 9 defensive outs.
- Pool players must wear their original team jersey/uniform.
- If a pool player arrives and the team later has 9+ rostered players, the pool player still plays.

the league’s normal communication channel.
