Welcome to Soldotna Little League

Content

The success of Soldotna Little League has its foundation in the involvement of our great volunteers. As the league has grown over the years, so has the need for more volunteers. To avoid the $50 volunteer fee, we ask you to select volunteer opportunities at registration or volunteer for one of the many tasks around the park. The expectation is that each volunteer provides at least 2 hours to the team/s or the league. Should you choose to forgo selecting a volunteer opportunity and choose to pay the fee at the end of the season, your fee will provide added financial support to allow the league to complete its work. Should you change your mind, you will have the opportunity throughout the season to volunteer your 2 hours and recoup your fees. By agreeing, you allow us to charge the card on file if the volunteer duties have not been met.

Volunteer Information - Volunteer Bond Program – Spring Ball
There is a great deal of work that happens around the park and on the field to operate a successful league. As a volunteer organization, Soldotna Little League relies on its families help in the many duties it takes to maintain a league our size. With only 11 Board Members and the few families that come out normally, we need your help. To encourage volunteer participation from our community and to be equitable to all families, the league has implemented a Volunteer Bond Program. Upon receiving your player’s uniform, each family will be required to pay a Volunteer Bond payment. (If participating in Park Clean-Up Day, no payment needed)
The amount of the Volunteer Bond is $50.

Please Note: Players will not receive their team uniform nor participate until their family's Volunteer Bond payment has been received. Each family is required to fulfill 2 hours to be eligible for a volunteer bond refund after 07/01.
Please Note: It is the responsibility of each family to fulfill the volunteer bond credits and submit the Soldotna Little League Volunteer Bond form.

Once the Spring season & post season (for All Stars) are completed, each family that has fulfilled its volunteer obligation of (2) hours and submitted the Soldotna Little League Volunteer Bond Form, will have the option to:
a) have their Volunteer Bond check/form destroyed.
b) donate the bond to the league for capital improvement projects.

Important!
Families who do not meet their volunteer requirements will forfeit that season's volunteer bond. The League would like every family to fulfill their Volunteer Bond obligation by volunteering. Help your coaches and Team Parent on game day. Help the league improve and expand the services it offers to the children of this community. If you are unable to fulfill the Volunteer Bond obligation the funds received ($50 per family) will be used to hire resources to assist with efforts around the complex and help with other capital projects.

A list of opportunities are on the right. Throughout the season new opportunities will become available.
Please Note: Any volunteer jobs not listed on the site must be approved by the SLL Board.

Please reach out to the SLL Board if you have questions or ideas for additional opportunities: [email protected]
