Welcome to Soldotna Little League

Content

The success of Soldotna Little League has its foundation in the involvement of our great volunteers. As the league has grown over the years, so has the need for more volunteers. To be eligible for a $50 volunteer fee reimbursement, we ask you to select volunteer opportunities at registration or volunteer for one of the many tasks around the park. The expectation is that each volunteer provides at least 2 hours to the team/s or the league. Should you choose not to participate, your fee will provide added financial support to allow the league to complete its work. Should you change your mind, you will have the opportunity throughout the season to volunteer your 2 hours and recoup your fee. Reimbursements will be issued following the 2 weeks after the season ends.

Volunteer Information - Volunteer Bond Program – Spring Ball
There is a great deal of work that happens around the park and on the field to operate a successful league. As a volunteer organization, Soldotna Little League relies on its families help in the many duties it takes to maintain a league our size. With only 11 Board Members and the few families that come out normally, we need your help. To encourage volunteer participation from our community and to be equitable to all families, the league has implemented a Volunteer Fee Program. Upon registration, you will be required to pay the $50 volunteer fee. Following the two weeks after the season ends, refunds will be issued if families have fulfilled their duties to the league or their players team.
The amount of the Volunteer Fee is $50.

Please Note: Players will not receive their team uniform nor participate until their family's Volunteer Fee payment has been received. Each family is required to fulfill 2 hours to be eligible for a volunteer fee refund after 07/01.

Please Note: It is the responsibility of each family to fulfill the volunteer fee hours and be signed off by the Soldotna Little League Board or players coaches or Team Parent.

Once the Spring season & post season (for All Stars) are completed, each family that has fulfilled its volunteer obligation of (2) hours and submitted to Soldotna Little League, will have the option to:
a) have their Volunteer Fee refunded
b) donate the fee to the league for capital improvement projects.

Important!
Families who do not meet their volunteer requirements will forfeit that season's volunteer fee. The League would like every family to fulfill their Volunteer duty obligations by volunteering. Help your coaches and Team Parent on game day. Help the league improve and expand the services it offers to the children of this community. If you are unable to fulfill the Volunteer obligations, the funds received ($50 per family) will be used to hire resources to assist with efforts around the complex and help with other capital projects.

A list of opportunities are on the right. Throughout the season new opportunities will become available.
Please Note: Any volunteer jobs not listed on the site must be approved by the SLL Board.

Please reach out to the SLL Board if you have questions or ideas for additional opportunities: [email protected]
